Woooo I just got my new aquarium set up. It's a 3 gallon tank that has 3 fake plants, 1 is big and 2 are average, a filter system in place, and a underwater volcano that has bubbles going out of it so cool. Me and my mom set it up in a day. So I'm letting my system cycle first so it is ready for the fish I put in. I already added water condition and the bacteria needed so now all I need are the fish, but they said that I should wait for like a week before putting fish into it so it can cycle complete. I'm planning to get 4 or 5 neon tetras, 1 bottom feeder catfish and MAYBE 2 fancy guppies cause my mom likes them alot. Hopefully that isn't too much cause of the fact that it's a 3 gallon tank but my buddy who is a fish expert says that you can easily have 10 neon tetras in my 3 gallon tank so I don't know. But what I do know is I'm going to add 4 or 5 neon tetras in for sure, then I'll decide on the catfish and guppies. If anyone of you guys out there know anything about fish, I'd like to hear some advice or input so that I don't screw up my aquarium and end up with dead fish.
